Hi, I’m Scott and Ingrained is my virtual portfolio for portraiture and editorial photography. I have a résumé which contains all the boring stuff that is a bit dry on the eyes. This part is my part where I can tell you a bit about myself.

I am a partisan of creative and technical development through photography, and an assistant to awesome people.

I have probably had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Before I learnt to walk, I had a 110 subminiature camera, which, at the time was about the same length as my arm. Now I have grown up, physically… mentally I’m still a big kid and so the tools I use have grown. I still on occasion use film, my restored 5x4 Sinar… which is also about the length of my arm, is my pride and joy but I know its place in line with the work I do. Mainly, now, I shoot digital 35mm and medium format for a range of clients all over the UK.

I enjoy fashion editorial and portraiture stylised commissions, but I am equally comfortable working in the studio for commercial pack shots.
